Graduating/graduate students
Eligibility
Before participating in on-campus recruiting, all students are required to register with Engineering Career Services.
Students who will receive a BS, MS or PhD degree from The Ohio State University College of Engineering, and have a minimum OSU GPA of 2.0, are eligible to register with the Graduating Senior/Graduate Student Program (GS) and to participate in on-campus recruiting during the academic year in which they will graduate. Students must be 18 years of age and can start using GS either 3 or 4 quarters prior to graduation, to take advantage of peak interview season (Oct-Nov-Dec). Registrants may continue to use GS for 12 months after graduation, as well.
Engineering graduate students seeking internships for the summer before degree completion should register with GS, not the Engineering Co-op & Internship Program (this is for undergraduate students only). However, if you're a new graduate student, you cannot register until you have completed at least two full-time quarters of graduate classes at OSU.
Students who do not meet the requirements precisely may request consideration for services with a petition form [pdf] (requires Adobe Reader [new window] or another PDF viewer).
All students should check in with Engineering Career Services, even if they decide to do their own job search, continue their studies in graduate school, join the military or have other plans. Students who do not plan to utilize the services of Engineering Career Services need only to complete the Post-Graduation Status Form.
