Why should I register?

Services offered to registered students include:

• On-campus interviews and online job postings specifically for OSU students.
• Resume referral service for students with active accounts (ECS sends resumes at the request of employers).
• Searchable resume book: registered employers can run key word searches on active candidates’ resumes.
• Employer-approved resume format guidelines.
• Job search and interviewing presentations by employers and ECS staff.
• Professional consultations (resume reviews, help with job search letters, help with your job search strategy, interview coaching, and just about any other career-related concern)
• Helpful resources: Career Services Handbook [PDF] (this document requires Adobe Reader [new window] or another PDF viewer), Job Choices Magazine (provided by employer and alumni donations), information and additional job search links on the ECS website in Student Resources, as well as handouts and resources in 199 Hitchcock. A “quiet room” for telephone interviews and a fax machine for sending and receiving employment-related faxes are also available at certain times.
